Project Yoga Hosted Trauma-Informed Yoga + Mindfulness Teacher Training
September 26-28, 2025
Project Yoga recently hosted a powerful three-day Trauma-Informed Yoga + Mindfulness Teacher Training, bringing together participants of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Over the weekend, a true sense of community emerged as teachers deepened their knowledge of trauma awareness, healing practices, and mindfulness-based tools. The training was held at our partner studio - Mint Yoga Studio, located in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. The training was attended by educators, instructors, therapists, and even Project Yoga board members committed to strengthening their understanding of our mission.
Rooted in an evidence-based curriculum, the training explored how trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness can help mitigate the effects of stress, strengthen resilience, and promote well-being. Together, we not only built skills and developed a deeper understanding of trauma and its manifestations, mindfulness, and mindfulness applications, but we also created a sense of connection with one another and both compassion and understanding for the communities we serve.
